In this creative and engaging class discover a brand new approach to JobBOSS as a material management tool. Material management, when leveraged beyond the basics, will increase employee and process efficiency while saving you money at the same time. The Deep Dive Material Management course is designed to help users gain more control over material purchasing and planning by using the full capability of JobBOSS.

Deep Dive: Scheduling

Take a deep dive into managing your demand vs capacity. Each student will become knowledgeable about the ins and outs of accurate scheduling and measuring capacity. This hands-on course takes your scheduling usage to the next level allowing your shop to work more efficiently and meet on-time deliveries. Users will learn specific processes such as:

Creative ways to schedule those jack of all trades employees
Proactively including your maintenance downtime in your schedule
Improving Work Center setup to best accommodate estimating, order entry and shop scheduling
Building a process plan for daily scheduling activities you should be leveraging using ShopBOSS

This class is designed to get you thinking outside the box and applying the various daily scheduling situations you face within JobBOSS. Through group discussions and thought provoking exercises, employees gain experience in scheduling best practices.

Deep Dive: Quoting

In order to increase customer satisfaction and retention, you need accurate quotes. Quoting is the business generator that will determine your growth opportunity for the future. During this workshop, learn the tips to bring your quoting to the next level:

Improve your accuracy through BOM imports
Modify costs to quote by quantity
Expedite routing creation through quote templates

After this workshop, employees will be able to produce highly accurate quotes, allowing sales to quote efficiently and with confidence.

Deep Dive: Order Processing

Your order processing steps can hinder or accelerate your shop operations. Order processing is what will drive efficiency for scheduling, material control and job costing. There are multiple ways to enter orders, but which one is best for your company? Throughout this course you will learn how to effectively utilize the following tasks:

Create jobs to add to efficiencies in material management for better cash flow.
Create jobs to best support on-time delivery.
Use reports in the best way to proactively uncover those ‘red flags'.

During this workshop, you will leverage new order entry techniques to increase scheduling and costing accuracy while eliminating redundant processes and errors.
