Eliminate the tedious and error-prone task of manually copying your Journal Entries into JobBOSS. Create Journal Entries in JobBOSS by importing from a spreadsheet directly from your payroll provider.

Journal Entries can be time consuming, on average taking one and a half minutes per entry. This time can be dramatically shortened with the Journal Entry Import utility.

Business Process

• Select the source data file using the “Browse” button on the utility interface.

• Click “Process Import”

• Utility validates the data file for format and content before loading. File content

validation checks include:

– unique reference

– valid accounts

– overall balance transaction

– Transaction date falls within the two open fiscal period

• If the data formatting is incorrect, the utility will provide an edit sheet showing the validation errors.
