BC Label
PRINT THE LABELS YOUR CUSTOMERS REALLY WANT
JobBOSS BC Label automates the process and eliminates data entry.
Bar code labeling can be a time-consuming and difficult manual task that is often fraught with costly errors. With the JobBOSS BC Label Program, you can automate the bar code labeling process, eliminating the need to re-enter data, which reduces data errors while greatly speeding up the process. And if your goal is to grow your business, the BC Label program makes it possible to meet the increasing demands and requirements of trading partners in a cost effective and time-efficient model.
JobBOSS BC Label program is an automated barcode labeling tool that works in conjunction with any JobBOSS edition to simplify the barcode creation process and allows you to print labels from within your JobBOSS database. With simple selection of a source record or group of records (such as packlists), this program pulls and organizes data straight out of original JobBOSS records into a single table to create individual labels and print on a label using third-party labeling software called NiceLabel. With these tools, users can easily expand the library of label formats or have them efficiently created by an authorized consultant.
AUTOMATING THE BARCODE PROCESS
If you’ve ever been tasked with the job to create bar code labels one at a time, you know that it can be a time-consuming, detail-oriented chore. With the JobBOSS Barcode Labeling program, users can print labels, with or without barcodes, with data directly from the JobBOSS database. This speeds up the process while eliminating data entry errors. With an easy to use administrative interface, you can augment JobBOSS data with other shipping and labeling data through access to:
- Easy maintenance of customer data with Ship - To override capabilities such as label assignment and supplier codes
- FG Part data, such as box counts and part weights
- Unlimited Label Library of individual customer formats, and other preferences and factors
With the base module program, which allows users to create Shipping Container Labeling plus customer and vendor mailing labels, you can:
- Print by packlist line or packlist
- Automatically calculate quantity for each label (e.g. shipment of 100 with container count of 15 will automatically print 6 labels of 15 and 1 label of 10)
- Enter irregular counts if required
- Automatically use label format specified for each customer
- Create optional serialization on label name basis
- Provide master labels and pallet/mixed load labels
- Print pallet, master and container labels together
- Access package numbering, use of part weights and lot control
- Embed logos and link and show part pictures
Expand library of label formats
Users can go far beyond basic labeling processes to expand their library of label formats, either personally or with an authorized consultant. This means that new or changing customer requirements can be handled quickly and cost effectively, enabling you to satisfy your existing customers while gaining additional ones.
